Chablis Blanchots (26/12/07): Nose minerally. Palate with structure and acidity, very good, no maderisation [Sam Chafe]

Beaune Clos des Mouches (25/5/07): Golden, fresh nose. Young palate, good acidity. Good wine, needed time [Sam Chafe]

Pernand Vergelesses Les Caradeux (23/1/01): Brilliant, citrusy, richly structured palate [Sam Chafe]

Pernand Vergelesses Les Caradeux (20/2/04): Flattened, less acidity, bit chalky, still sound [Sam Chafe]

Pernand Vergelesses Les Caradeux (22/12/07): Reasonable weight and structure but now with some maderisation [Sam Chafe]

NB: In my experience, this seems to be a common sequence with premature maderisation .
